great success!

the open day was a great success with numbers nearing 200!. the weather unfortunately made it impossible to use our outdoor arena, thank goodness for our indoor which still aloud it to be a fabulous day. we would like to thank our great team of volunteers and our horses, who enjoyed being stars! we would also like to thank every one that came along and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

on an other note we are now all busily preparing for our dressage competition this weekend. lots to do! hopefully the rain eases a little bit to allow the glorious mud to dry out a little bit. ahh thank goodness for our indoor facilities :)

Wonderful weekend

We've all just arrived home from a great weekend in Mareeba. We took over Agraciado, Serio, Paloma, Bengala, Condessa and Hugo for a weekend of dressage, jumping and socializing. We all had a great time, including the horses, and have come home absolutely exhausted!

We have to say a HUGE thank you to Irene, who stayed behind to feed and care for the rest of the horsey family. Sylvia, Kate and Ruth for your dedication and hard work over the weekend, it wouldn't have been possible without you all. Thank you also to the organizers of the dressage and jumping.

After camping over at Keribee we all headed over to the jumping competition. Mickael rode Agraciado in the 1.10m, placing fourth, they certainly had a great time together. He also rode Paloma in her first ever jumping contest, placing first and surprising us all! .. Ruby rode Serio in their first jumping competition together, they placed third in both classes and certainly walked away smiling. Condessa, our loved school horse had a great round and just proved to be an amazing all rounder.

It was a great weekend for the Cristogracia team and for Andalusians.... after all, Andys can jump! :)
